ACF
CHAMPION CADET COMPETITION 2007 - RESULTS
1.
The ACF Champion Cadet Competition 2007 took place at
Frimley
Park
over the weekend 8/9 Sep 07.
The clear winner against stiff opposition was Cadet
RSM
Ashley McMullan, 1st (NI) Bn ACF, who will be
awarded the Claire Shore Trophy at a parade later this year.
Well done!
2.
Cadet
RSM
William Hearnshaw, Humberside and South Yorkshire ACF was
second and Cadet
RSM
Hannah Reeson, Cumbria ACF, third.
3.
Overall Performance. The
competitors are commended for the standard of their
performance and conduct throughout the event.
All demonstrated the qualities and skills of a Master
Cadet and were impressive examples of Army Cadet Force high
achievers.
4.
More detailed results have been e-mailed to Counties and the
PXR, with advice for future competitors, will follow.

2007/08/09
COURSE PROGRAMME
The
2008/09 Course Programme has now been sent out.
Our latest Course Programmes for 2007, 2008 and 2009
with their Year Planners are on our Courses
page on this site. As well as the changes to the
‘Commandants and Seniors Officers’ and ‘Area
Commanders’ Courses, please note there are a few
amendments in the early part of next year.
The
letter asking for returns from ADS will be out shortly.

VACANCIES
1.
Please ensure that you tell us if you cannot turn up for a
Course that you have been booked on - just ring
01276-65155 and let us know.
2.
If you can come at short notice, ring us the week before
the Course you want to attend starts and if there are any
cancellations and you have the agreement of your CEO will
try and get you on it - our Courses Clerk, Richard, is on
extension 212.
3.

advertise any places that we are trying to fill here.

PUBLICATIONS
1.
The new 2007 version of AC 71103 Customs of the
Service has now been issued.
2.
The April 2007 edition of Pamphlet 21 is in the process of
issue throughout the cadet forces on a limited
distribution. A
new version, Pamphlet 21 C (Cadets) is currently being
written and a full issue will be made once this work is
complete.
3.
3,000 more copies of the AC 71462 Cadet Training Manual
Vol 1, incorporating amendments 1-6, are currently being
printed and will be available through Glen Williams
shortly. As before with the 4,000 previously issued this
year, this is not a new edition, it is purely a reprint of
the existing pamphlet.
4.

5.
The new Cadet Adventurous Training Handbook and the Cadet
Target Rifle and Cadet Signals Training Syllabus pamphlets
have been distributed.
6.
All the Cadet Force Forms that are the responsibility
of the SO2 Publications are now available
electronically - see our "Publications" bar for
the details and the current downloadable Forms. The
stock at Llangennech will be updated over the next couple
of months and will continue to be issued.
